Popcorn has come a long ways since he was rescued! He came in very underweight at only 5#, but he is now a much healthier 10# kitty and he looks GREAT!!! We have discovered he doesn't really care for other cats much, so he would probably be happier if he was the 'one and only' kitty in his new home! He might be OK with another one, but we would want introductions to be slow!
Sadly, it was discovered he is Diabetic... and now has to eat prescription food and also have insulin shots 2x's daily. He's a good boy when being given his shots, and he is adjusting to having to eat a certain amount of food per day now, too. This boy went through a lot while he was out trying to survive on his own, so now that he's doing well, we hope he continues to thrive so he can find a family who will love and cherish him for the rest of his life!
Popcorn lives in a foster home and is available to be seen by appointment. He may make appearances at our weekly open house events but please watch our Facebook page to see who is attending the events. You may also let us know if you want to meet him specifically and we'll set up a time.
